Midge’s background in interior design began in the early ’70′s when she designed and owned several gourmet cookware shops in Louisville, Kentucky.  The Baker’s Rack was well known for its chef-friendly, functional kitchen equipment, as well as professionally taught ethnic cooking classes.  This experience led to expanding her flair by doing interiors after moving to Florida to be near her family in 1986.

In her own small abode, on the east coast of Florida, she has fulfilled her fantasy by creating her own Paris apartment, incorporating an outrageously ornate 19th Century French porcelain fireplace with a 5 ft. flue in the shape of a palm tree, along with her vast Eiffel Tower collection.

Midge’s passion for collecting unique objects d’art and furniture, ranging from family heirlooms to flea market finds from as far away as the Marche Saint-Quen in Paris has inspired her to share with customers an array of eclectic treasures, some elegant, some whimsical, all unusual.
